From the Trocadéro esplanade, the Eiffel Tower is about a 10-minute walk away: you head down through the Trocadéro gardens, walk alongside the fountains, then cross the Seine via the Pont d'Iéna to the foot of the Iron Lady. A gently sloping, open path that offers the most photographed perspective in Paris.

In the other direction, visitors coming from the Eiffel Tower often walk back up to the Trocadéro for the photo: it's the same route, across the Pont d'Iéna.
