The eight brunches at a glance
- Carette (on the square): the Art Deco tea room Jean Carette opened in 1927, famous for its macarons and hot chocolate. Brunch is à la carte, served all day, indoors or on the terrace.
- Café du Trocadéro (on the square): a contemporary brasserie with an Art Deco look, facing the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast and brunch are served in the dining room or on the large terrace.
- Café de la Marine (on the square): the restaurant of the national Maritime Museum, run by Monument Café. You can walk in without a museum ticket, one floor up, with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Diners report a buffet brunch: confirm the days with the restaurant.
- Riverose (avenue de New York): a flower-filled café built around brunch, served Tuesday to Sunday, with the Eiffel Tower right across the Seine.
- Monsieur Bleu (Palais de Tokyo): the stylish weekend brunch, in the west wing of the Palais de Tokyo, with a terrace facing the tower.
- Lulu's (avenue Kléber): a small Parisian café open every day, handy if you want brunch on a weekday or a Monday.
- Maison Revka (avenue Raymond Poincaré): a private mansion with a theatrical interior, between Victor Hugo and the Trocadéro. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, with a kids' club on Sundays.
- Lutèce Coffee (rue de Longchamp): a coffee shop for a simpler brunch, with specialty coffee and colorful lattes.
Our tips for brunch at the Trocadéro
Book or not? It depends on the place. Monsieur Bleu recommends booking. Lulu's and Café de la Marine can be booked on TheFork, Maison Revka on its website. Riverose only takes reservations on weekdays. Carette takes none at all.
Weekends are busy. The Trocadéro draws Eiffel Tower visitors all year round. On Saturdays and Sundays, walk-in places fill up fast: come at opening time or push your brunch to the early afternoon.
Weekdays are easier. Carette, Lulu's and Café du Trocadéro serve every day. Riverose and Lutèce Coffee also serve brunch on weekdays, except Mondays.
What about Maison Pradier? Many people still search for "brunch Maison Pradier Trocadéro". The buffet brunch at the Palais de Chaillot no longer appears in its offer. Yes. Carette, the tea room opened in 1927 at 4 Place du Trocadéro, serves brunch plates (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, avocado) as part of its all-day service, every day from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It does not take reservations, so expect a wait, especially on weekends.
Does Maison Pradier still serve brunch at the Trocadéro?
The buffet brunch Maison Pradier used to serve at the Palais de Chaillot no longer appears in its offer: its official website no longer lists a Palais de Chaillot location. Near the Trocadéro, Maison Pradier runs a counter at 69 avenue Kléber (pastries, sandwiches, hot dishes), open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no brunch menu listed.
Where can you have brunch with an Eiffel Tower view near the Trocadéro?
Café du Trocadéro and Café de la Marine face the Eiffel Tower from the square. Further down, Riverose (avenue de New York) and Monsieur Bleu (Palais de Tokyo) also look straight at the tower, across the Seine.
