- The closest view: 10e Ciel and the Port de Suffren barges (Francette, Bal de la Marine) sit at the foot of the Tower. The bar at Les Ombres sees it from the roof of the Musée du quai Branly.
- The head-on view from the Trocadéro: Café de l'Homme and Girafe, at the Palais de Chaillot, look at the Tower across the Seine, above the gardens.
- A drink without booking: the Brach rooftop (in season) and the Terrass'' Hotel rooftop take no reservations. At the Terrass'', the website suggests avoiding 7 to 8:30 p.m.
- All year, indoors: the glass dining room at Les Ombres, the glass roof at 10e Ciel and the windows at Windo Skybar keep the view even when it is cold.
- The widest panorama: Windo Skybar (34th floor) and TOO TacTac (27th floor) see the Tower in the middle of all of Paris, from a distance.
A tip: arrive before sunset to get a seat on the Tower side, then stay for the first Eiffel Tower sparkle, at the start of every hour after nightfall.
